Marina Sergeevna Karetnikova is a historian and a pedagogue. She is the author of three Almanacs on History of Russian Baptist Movement. In 2008 she was awarded an honorary Doctor of Theology degree by Saint-Petersburg Christian University for a invaluable input in the studies of the history of Russian Baptist movement.

Marina Sergeevna is a member of Central Baptist Church in Saint-Petersburg on Poklonnaya Gora.
